A meaningful play moment does not need a large space or a full toy collection. Choose a safe, comfortable surface, offer one or two age-suitable toys, and give your child time to observe before stepping in.
Follow your child’s attention. If they reach or repeat a movement, describe what is happening in simple words and leave room for another attempt. Repetition is a natural part of exploration.
When interest fades or your child seems tired, bring the moment to a calm close. A few minutes of full connection can feel better than a long, busy session.
